Outdoor Emedco Label Weathering Tests
Test Description: An Emedco Hazard label sample was replicated using DuraLabel Premium Continuous Vinyl. Both were then placed into the weather chamber for an accelerated weathering durability comparison.
DuraLabel Outlasts Emedco Labels
Data/Results:
Test Time: 1800 hours accelerated; equals approximately 3 years outdoor exposure.
Observations: As seen in the images above, the DuraLabel label only faded slightly, while the Emedco label is completely gone. The Emedco label would have realistically needed replacement in the 1-2 year range, before the entire image had been wiped out by the effects of outdoor exposure. The DuraLabel label is still going strong without need for replacement.
