There are small spots in the
printing on my labels.
Small particles of dust and dirt on the surface
of the tape supply can prevent the ink from
transferring properly from the ribbon. This
results in small spots in the printed area.
Keep the ribbon and tape supply as clean as
possible and avoid printing in a dusty area.
It is also possible that tiny dimples in the
surface of the tape supply can prevent the ribbon
from transferring. This is rare and usually
affects just a few feet out of any roll. Increasing
the print density can improve printing quality.
