An Arc Flash Label Solution

Arc Flash Software

Arc flash software is used to perform arc flash calculations. For arc flash labels, the software will determine the distances for the various approach boundaries, and the PPE that is required.

The EasyPower® Arc Flash™ Software
EasyPower® Arc Flash™ is a comprehensive arc flash program that provides the latest in NFPA-70E, and IEEE-1584 arc flash calculation algorithms. Arc Flash™ is fully integrated with the EasyPower® one-line, short circuit and protective device algorithms. With a mouse-click you can verify arc flash boundaries, incident energy, and personal protective equipment requirements (PPE) necessary for personnel safety and NFPA-70E compliance. Arc Flash™ also provides the necessary documentation for safety program compliance within NFPA-70E guidelines.

Printing from EasyPower®
EasyPower® Arc Flash™ is compatible with the DuraLabel 4TTP label printer (see photo at left), a cost effective, fully customizable arc flash label printing system. The results generated by the EasyPower® analysis can be printed directly by the DuraLabel 4TTP, providing detailed arc flash warning labels quickly and easily.

Printing from Word or the DuraLabel Arc Flash Database Software

The DuraLabel 4TTP also provides other arc flash label printing options. It is compatible with common office software such as Microsoft Word™, so that your custom arc flash warning labels can be created manually using Word templates provided with the DuraLabel printer.

The DuraLabel also comes with arc flash database software. Enter the appropriate data for each label and the software prints an arc flash label using a standard format, and it saves the information in a database for future reference and use.

Compliance Made Simple!
NFPA-70E is the current standard for protection from arc flashes. This standard requires that potential sources of an arc flash be properly labeled.

With the DuraLabel 4TTP, you can print custom labels that include important information such as the boundary within which PPE is required, and a list of required protective equipment.
