Multipart Signs And Tiling
For multiple colored signs without the complication of printing multiple colors on one sign, simply create a multipart sign.
For creating signs larger than 4 inches, Tile your image. Follow the instructions below:
Tiled Sign Example
Print Multipart Signs
Step 1
Print one label in one color.
Step 2
Print another label in another color or even on different colored supply.
Step 3
Adhere the labels side by side or one on top of the other in the location you
wish to create a sign.
Note: You can make your sign as large as you'd like simply by printing more labels to stack side by side or one on top of the other - or both!
Print Tiled Signs
Step 1
Design your sign in MS Word in a single text box at the desired size.
Step 2
Create a new Word document where the size is the actual size of
the supply you will use to print.
Step 3
Copy the text box from the first document and paste it onto the blank document,
then move the text box so the top portion is lined up with the top of the label.
Step 4
Print a label. Everything that is shown on your label onscreen will print on the label.
Step 5
Move the text box up so the part that has already printed is no longer visible,
and the next portion of the sign is shown onscreen. Print this label.
Step 6
Continue steps 4 and 5 until your whole document is printed. Then in the desired
location, tile the pieces together to make one big sign!
