Arc Flash Labeling Software
Make the arc flash labels you need with our premiere Industrial Labeling Suite (ILS)...
The Arc Flash module included in the Industrial Labeling Software is designed to print on die-cut arc flash DANGER AND WARNING labels easily and quickly.
Just enter the label information in the spaces provided
on the screen and print!
This data-driven labeling software features an easy-to-use template for entering data. You'll be able to quickly create superior arc flash labels that are clear, concise, and that effectively communicate all needed information, including hazard levels and required PPE.
While the NFPA 70-NEC Section 110.16 code covers arc flashing labeling, it does not specify the exact information that needs to be included on an arc flash label. The code does suggest that the following be included on arc flash labels and warning signs:
- Boundaries
- Flash Protection Boundary
- Limited Shock Approach Boundary
- Restricted shock approach boundary
- Prohibited Shock Approach Boundary
- PPE Required
- Available Short-Circuit Current
- Incident energy at 18" (in cal/cm2)
- Voltage Shock Hazard
The 2009 edition of the NFPA 70E code requires that either the available incident energy or the required PPE be included on all arc flash labels. Labels available in ILS come equipped and formatted with this information.
Each arc flash label is stored in the database for future reference and use. New labels can be added at any time, and existing labels can be modified or deleted.
Search for labels in the database by Equipment Name, Bus Name, and Project.
Labels may be printed in English, French, or Spanish.
Label Size & Type: This software creates arc flash labels using 4" x 6" die-cut labels. Labels are available with either a Danger header or a Warning header.
Printing options let you print individual labels or batches of labels -- up to 99 at a time.
