Q: My IT department is hesitant about adding peripheral devices like printers. Does the DuraLabel Toro need any IT support to operate?
A: Toro does not require any network connectivity to operate. Toro includes software for OSHA / ANSI compliance templates and symbols, barcoding, custom label creation through OpenOffice. The printer in the Toro can be networked if desired through an optional Ethernet port. Contact a customer service representative for details.
Q: Can I store labels that I've created in the Toro printer?
A: Yes you can. Toro has two drives, C Drive and D Drive that can be easily accessed through the Toro Toolbar on the home screen. Saved label layouts can be stored on either one of these drives for future use.
Q: How long does the Toro battery last?
A: Toro's optional battery will allow for up to three hours of continuous printing. The battery can "sleep" in the Toro without recharging for up to 30 hours. On average, the Toro battery requires three hours of charge time.
Q: What types of supplies are available for the Toro?

Q: What if I need help or have to have my Toro serviced?
A: Unlike some of our competitors, DuraLabel offers free customer support for as long as you have your machine. If you need your printer serviced DuraLabel will provide a loaner at no cost to you.
Q: Is the Toro screen a touch screen?
A: Yes, the Toro includes a 9" landscape touch screen. The screen lifts into four different locking positions so you can access it sitting down or standing up. Use the pointer which is stored in the keyboard for command controls. You can also command the Toro through the keyboard or with a wired or wireless mouse.
