How Phosphorescent Labels & Signs Work:
The entire tape glows in the dark. That means the glowing vinyl can only be seen where there
is no printing. Labels can be printed so that the text
is in black, resulting in black lettering on a glowing green background. Or print
the label in reverse to get glowing green text and symbols, such as the exit sign to the left.
Phosphorescent, adhesive-backed 2" vinyl tape comes in 50 ft. rolls. Phosphorescent
tapes come in one-color only. The label will appear to be "off-white"
when not glowing.
Typical applications for phosphorescent labels, signs and tape includes marking emergency exits, identifying critical switches and breakers, highlighting stair steps, handrails and doorways, and identifying the location of emergency equipment.
