With DuraLabel PRO supplies there are a variety of styles,
colors, types, sizes, and materials available for making arc flash labels. Neither NEC nor ANSI currently specify
a required label type, header or text for arc flash labels. This allows you to select materials and label design that is consistent with the warning labels used throughout your facility, with the result being you have the most effective labels for your facility. But, you must be able to get the rignht supplies to make the labels you need.
DuraLabel PRO supplies provide five options for making arc flash labels.
The four main options are shown below. There are two types
of die-cut labels with pre-printed headers, as
well as two types of continuous vinyl supply that

4" x 6" Die-Cut Arc Flash Labels
Die-Cut Arc Flash labels are 4"
x 6" and come on 4" wide rolls. The DANGER labels
come with a pre-printed RED header, while the WARNING
label come with a pre-printed ORANGE header. We have
developed proprietary Arc
Flash Database Software to make printing on these labels
a breeze. The software is included with the purchase of a
DuraLabel PRO series printer.
The above arc flash labels are also available with the headers printed in Spanish.
Two-Color Vinyl Arc Flash Labels
We also carry continuous rolls
of industrial grade, adhesive-backed vinyl that are great
for creating arc flash hazard labels. Using continuous vinyl provides the flexibility to create labels and signs of any size, and include just the information you want on your labels. Two options are available: single color vinyl and two-color vinyl.
White
Labels With An Orange Header
This is
4" wide, continuous white vinyl with an orange header at the top. Headers are available in various widths.
A signal word, such as "WARNING"
is printed in the header at the same time the
rest of the label is printed.
These labels may be printed using any software you already have on your computer, such as Microsoft Word or Excel, or by arc flash software created by others.
Two color vinyl is also available in other colors such as red, and with various size headers.
Single Color Vinyl For Arc Flash Labels
Single Color - Orange Vinyl
Available in widths of 1" up to 4" wide*, continuous orange vinyl supply gives
the most flexibility when printing Arc Flash Warning
Labels.
