We've all experienced the security checkpoint line at the airport. We hand over our boarding pass and driver's license to a TSA employee, she marks the boarding pass with a pen or marker, and then she shines this cool light onto our driver's license. What the TSA employee is doing is verifying a certain seal or symbol especially visible in UV light. A new specialty supply for use with DuraLabel PRO label printers provides a similar benefit of security to those who use it on labeling applications. It is called UV Watermarking Supply.

Labels can be printed to include fluorescing ink that hides graphic images and text until exposed to UV light (black light), which then tells you that the label is genuine and not a counterfeit.

Upon receipt of the supply, load it into your DuraLabel PRO printer and print as normal (barcode labels, product part number labels, etc.). Exposure to a UV light, showing your fluorescing image or text, verifies your labeled product, part, or area is authentic.
