DuraLabel Software Makes Designing Labels Quick and Painless
Doesn't it just seem like everything you hook up to a computer require you to install complicated, clunky, and resource-consuming software? And more often than not, the new "advanced" program just takes up memory space because it turns out that you don't really need it. The DuraLabel software that comes on a CD with the DuraLabel printer is not at all like the unruly software packages you receive with other computer related products. Other than the driver that allows customizing of the DuraLabel printer, all other data and files on the CD is completely optional. Although optional, we don't see any reason why you wouldn't want what we provide to be on your computer. The CD is packed with useful features. There are hundreds of industry standard graphics and symbols that are often used and universally recognized. The software also includes hundreds of Microsoft Word and Open Office templates and examples that allow you to easily edit and print acceptable label formats. The DuraLabel software works especially well with DuraLabel supplies. A unique application allows you to design and print on RTK die-cut labels such as arc flash and NFPA warning and information labels. This software also stores information on the many types of chemicals and materials that are used in the industry as well as labels previously created so you don't have to keep remaking them. With all these useful features, it's easy to take it for granted. What the software doesn't have is just as important as what it does have: It doesn't have spyware; it doesn't have clunky, hard to use programs; and it doesn't take up a lot of memory space. In short: it's everything you need, nothing you don't. Labels: DuraLabel Software, DuraLabel Supplies
DuraLabel On-Site Labeling Capability
The DuraLabel print is not a stand-alone printer, and it requires electrical power to run. These factors, however, limits the DuraLabel printer in no way should you ever need to print on-the-go. As long as you have a laptop that operates on Windows 98 or higher, the DuraLabel printer can accompany you on the field and print the labels you need at the moment. This is made possible with the ingeniously designed DuraLabel battery. It is lightweight, compact (fits directly under the printer), can print over 500 labels on a single charge, and has enough power to print continuously for about three hours. Even some handheld labelers designed specifically for mobile labeling can't handle that kind of capacity. With a DuraLabel printer, you get even more versatility and capability than other on-the-go printers. The printer, tapes, ribbons, battery, and USB (or parallel) cable can all be contained and moved with the DuraLabel protective carrying case. The carrying case is solid. It is water and dust proof and has foam compartments that carries every item previously mentioned. With a 17" extension handle and rugged wheels, the DuraLabel carrying case lets you be as mobile as you need to be. These DuraLabel accessories will give you freedom as well as the tools you'll need to get the job done. Labels: DuraLabel Accessories, DuraLabel Software
Easy to use DuraLabel 4TTP
The problem of using something you've never used before is, of course, needing to learn how to use it. This can be an arduous undertaking especially when the device is unfamiliar and not commonly used, such as a label maker/printer. Although desktop printers are commonplace and have been around since before the fall of typewriters, label printers are not as ubiquitous. However, the list of difficult-to-master printers out there does not include the DuraLabel 4TTP. The DuraLabel 4TTP is user-friendly. Everything about it is easy. It is simple to load the supply into the label and sign maker and can be done relatively quickly. Driver installation is a cinch because of the installation CD that comes with the printer. Designing also isn't a problem since the CD also comes with templates and commonly used labels as examples. You can also easily create your own labels by utilizing your favorite word processor, such as Microsoft Word. By examining common and well-known procedures, the makers of the DuraLabel 4TTP were able to create a new uncommon electronic device but apply familiar methods of operation. The result: An exciting label and sign printer that maximizes usability. Labels: DuraLabel Labeler, DuraLabel Software
DuraLabel Arc Flash Software Updated
Version 2.30.00 of the DuraLabel Arc Flash software has just been released. This update provides several new features. With this new version the DuraLabel software can now print Arc Flash labels in both French and Spanish, as well as in English. New DuraLabel supplies are also available with headers printed in French or Spanish. The DuraLabel printer has always had the capability to print non-English labels using continuous vinyl tapes. These latest upgrades to the software no extend that capability to the DuraLabel database software. The 2.30.00 upgrade also adds a new feature to the Arc Flash labels that allows the information printed across the bottom of the label to be changed. It can be toggled between two settings. One prints the "Equipment ID", which is the information the software has always printed at the bottom of the label. The other prints three pieces of information: the BUS, and required PROTECTIVE DEVICES and the date the label was printed is automatically printed in the lower right corner. Existing owners of the DuraLabel may download this update free. Please go to the online help pages on the HELP Menu in your DuraLabel software. Labels: DuraLabel Software, Hazard Labeling
