New Year, New NFPA Code.
Ah, the new year. A time where people worldwide, in near unison, celebrate what was left behind and what is yet to come. When the clock struck midnight and the pages on our calendars turned from 2008 to 2009, new beginnings became possible. And for those of us in the safety industry, let us be aware that a new safety code also came into effect.

On January 1, 2009, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code made a significant change. Section 7.2.2.5.5, which covers all buildings of all heights, requires that exit stair path markings be marked with photoluminescent materials.
To help you understand what this new code means for you, your company, its employees, and anyone else who enters your building, Graphic Products has provided a white paper entitled "Photoluminescent Labels, Signs, and Path Markings."
Graphic Products supplies exactly the type of photoluminescent materials you need to help you get started creating photoluminescent labels, signs, and path markings for your exit stair paths. Photoluminescent labels, signs, and path markings can be easily printed right on any DuraLabel brand printer.
