NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Requirements
A new web site is available that discusses labeling related to NFPA 70E requirements and standards. This web site features the DuraLabel 4TT as a label printer that can be used for making NFPA 70E labels.
NFPA 70E labels are used to warn of arc flash hazards, informing employees, contractors and visitors about approach boundaries for electrical equipment. They may also include information such as the required PPE and details about the electrical hazard.
The DuraLabel 4TTP includes database software for creating and printing arc flash labels. The label information is stored in an Access database for future use or reference. It can also be used to print arc flash labels using Microsoft Word or Excel, or specialized arc flash software such as the EasyPower software.
