WHMIS Labels For The DuraLabel Now Available
WHMIS label templates are now available for the DuraLabel 4TTP label printer. The templates allow you to get started printing labels quickly, by providing a preformatted label you can use with Microsoft Word. You can modify the templates to suit your specific requirements.
WHMIS stands for “Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System”. This is the Canadian system for providing information on the safe use of hazardous materials, similar to RTK labeling MSDS in the U.S. Under WHMIS employers must make sure that the products are labelled as to their hazards and that employees are trained so that they can work safely with the hazardous materials used by the employer.
The WHMIS label templates will be included with the next release of the DuraLabel software CD. Until then, if you need the WHMIS label templates, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your DuraLabel printer.
