Energy Production & Distribution
From fossil fuel fired power plants, to solar arrays, DuraLabel printers and supplies are being used throughout the power generation and distribution industry to meet safety codes, reduce waste and improve productivity.
Typical applications include:
Pipe Markers - DuraLabel printers and supplies produce long-lasting, easy to apply pipe markers and valve tags that are compliant with ANSI/ASME A13.1. Typically pipe markers are made using DuraLabel Premium Vinyl, but specialty materials are available to handle all types of environmental conditions including: low temperatures, high temperatures, rusty or dirty pipes, oily pipes, temporary pipe markers and even pipe markers or labels that are subjected to salt water spray.
RTK Labels - DuraLabel printers are the only printers that can make large RTK labels (both NFPA diamond and color bar labels) as well as the conventional 4" x 6" and smaller RTK labels. Make RTK labels up to 6.8" x 10.5" for labeling tanks and vessels, or in any other location where highly visible RTK labels are needed. Make smaller RTK labels for use in the lab.
Arc Flash & Electrical Warning Labels - All DuraLabel desktop printers come with arc flash database software. You can easily and quickly create the arc flash labels you need, and store the information for each arc flash label in the database for future use and reference. Arc flash die-cut labels are available in sizes from 4" x 6" up to the extra large 8.8" x 12.8" labels. DuraLabel also gives you the option of using continuous vinyl, two-color continuous vinyl (with a header color preprinted on the vinyl) or a variety of specialty materials for making electrical caution, warning or danger signs and labels.
Wire & Cable Marking - DuraLabel printers give you two options for marking wires and cables: shrink tubes and self-laminating wire wraps. Shrink tubes can be applied to wires before they are terminated. Self-laminating wire wraps can be applied after termination and are suitable for larger wires and cables, and may also be used to mark conduit. In addition, wire wraps come in a variety of colors allowing your cables and conduit to be color coded.
Equipment Marking and Identification - DuraLabel printers have the right supplies for marking any type of equipment. DuraLabel Premium Vinyl is used for equipment identification and for providing operating and maintenance instructions right at the point of need. DuraLabel high temperature supplies are used to mark equipment that gets hot, such as coal pulverizer outlets. Special materials with aggressive adhesives are available for marking difficult to label surfaces. Plus tough DuraStripe tapes are available to permanently mark floors.
