DuraLabel Engineering

Many of our company's innovations begin with
brainstorming sessions over drawing boards.

DuraLabel's engineering department is a busy place. New concepts, ideas and products are constantly being developed, tweaked, improved, tested and readied for the facilities and workplaces around the world.

Our engineering team includes systems engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, industrial designers, software programmers and technicians. Collectively, their goal is to continuously come up with innovative new products that make us one of the world's leaders in durable safety printers and supplies.

The MPS 150 XL

One of our latest product developments is the MPS 150 XL, a portable printer controller that interfaces seamlessly with our DuraLabel printers.

  • Many of our customers put the MPS 150 XL on a portable cart with their DuraLabel printer for quick and easy movement through their facility. It's a perfect solution for maintenance tasks, lean manufacturing or inventory management.

  • The MPS 150 XL also provides independence from your company's IT system. It eliminates the need to install drivers or software on your PC, removing security concerns. (The MPS 150 XL is engineered to military security specifications, so it is not a risk to your company's security.)

  • The MPS 150 XL comes preloaded with our proprietary DuraSuite software which includes RTK, pipe marking, arc flash, OSHA templates and an extensive ANSI symbol library.

State of the art industrial design software is
used to prepare concepts for manufacturing.

Our Sunshine Court facility, shown below, is the location of our engineering department, as well as our shipping, manufacturing, warehouse, QA department and DuraLabel test lab. Our customer support department is located in our nearby corporate headquarters building.
